These R a Few of My Favorite Things...

Just thought I'd share a random post with you chicks about some of the cosmetics I absolutely love, love, love. I <3 these so much that I thought that some of you might dig them too.

1. Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

This stuff is great this time of year. Don't you hate when it's really cold out and your lips sometimes get a little chapped and cracked? Well Burt's Bees lip balm gets the job done. It has alot of natural ingredients like coconut and sunflower oils, peppermint oil, and rosemary leaf extract. It really soothes your lips and instantly feels minty and tingly when you put it on. Comes in both the plastic tube like chapstick or in the metal tin. About $3 a pop.

2. Soap and Glory Products

Soap and Glory is a FAB brand of cosmetics including lotion, body scrub, lip gloss, concealer, hair care, firmers and toners. If you want it; more than likely they've got it. It's kinda like having your own little mini spa at home. I swear by the Flake Away Spa Body Polish! In the winter we get a little dry and sometimes lotion alone doesn't do the job, right. This is the  best exfoliant/ body polish ever. You just rub in on in the shower, rinse it off, and go. It's so moisturizing that you might not even need lotion afterwards. Its made with shea butter, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder, sea salt and sugar. And it smells delicious. Only $9.99. If you try anything from this line I would recommend the Flake Away, The Righteous Butter, Easy Glistening Dry Oil Body Gloss, and the Sexy MotherPucker Lip Gloss. They all have cute little names, pretty pink packaging with cute vintage pictures on them. You can buy all of them at Target and check out their site at Soap and Glory.

3. Loreal's Telescopic Explosion Mascara

This is a new mascara from Loreal called Telescopic Explosion. I actually just bought it earlier today. It is very popular and selling out very fast. Went to three stores and they were all sold out. Finally found some at Walmart and I like it alot. It has a long wand with a soft spherical plastic brush which really helps you get every little lash, even the ones in the cornes and your bottom lashes. It takes a while to get used to because the brush is very small and I'm used to a bigger brush. Once you apply one coat you can see the difference. Your lashes are fanned out, seperated, and appear way longers. My lashes are already very long so after 1-2 coats the looked like falsies. But you don't have to worry about clumping or combing your lashes after you apply. It was only $7.99 at Walmart and I got a $2.00 coupon from the Loreal website which took the price down to $5.99. Very Inexpensive compared to the Givenchy's Phenomenon Eyes Effet Extension mascara.

4. MAC Lipglass in Pink Poodle

Last, but definetly not least! MAC's Lipglass in Pink Poodle. I would probably say this is by far my favorite lipgloss to date! I love the fact that the consistency of this lip gloss is a little thicker but not really sticky. It also has really pretty hot pink/fuschia color that I adore. I love that I can wear it alone and it has a nice bright color. You can also wear it over lip liner or lipstick if you want even more of a pop. If you don't like color on your lips you might want to stay away from this. The only con is that it doesn't have really great staying power. If you are eating or drinking frequently you need to reapply it throughout the day. But it's worth the $14.00.

Louboutin Look for Less

So when I saw the Nitoinimoi boot by Christian Louboutin I fell in love. Too bad the price was $1195. When I saw the recession friendly version at F21 I was ecstatic. That means I could have them. And the resemblance between the two is dead on. Check it out!

Nu Pop

I came across something new for the guys today. A new brand of watches called Nu Pop which is a collab between jeweler Pascal Mouawad and Jermaine Dupri. When I first saw it the first thing I thought was "artsy." Paid the site a visit and learned that I was somewhat right. "Nu Pop translates the Pop aesthetic into fashionable, wearable art- eclectic, innovative timepieces which reflect the energy and vibrancy of pop culture." The watches range in price range from $95.00- $450.00. Visit the site at Nu Pop. Check out the pics below.

She was recently at the Alexa Chung show in a red and black Asymetric Cowl Neck Dress by Alexander McQueen. This dress goes for $1655.00 over at http://www.alexandermcqueen.com/. She's such a fierce B!%@*!!!!!

Bad Romance

I know I'm a little late, but it's better late than never right? Anywho, Lady Gaga's video for the new single "Bad Romance" debuted a few weeks ago. Razor blade sunglasses? Check! Rhinestone embelished outfit? Check! Vodka? Check! Murder? Check! Craaaaaaaazzzy at its best! You didn't expect anything less from Gaga right?! Check out the Alexander McQueen shoes she is rocking in the vid. These damn shoes are popping up everywhere.

Alexander McQueen Part 2

Apparently chicks are going absolutely nuts over the alienish looking Alexander McQueen shoes that debuted on the Spring 2010 Runway which I posted about last month. I get it,  you want to be different; but come on let's get real. These shoes are not meant to be worn off the runway!!!! DUH! Unless of course you would like to break your neck; or your ankles. Ladies, give me a break! (No pun intended.)
